Lodging Information The 2001 Annual Meeting will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Sacramento, California. The Radisson Hotel is a beautiful Mediterranean villa style hotel conveniently located near downtown Sacramento. The Radisson Hotel is offering meeting attendees a special hotel lodging rate for this meeting, and those attending the meeting are encouraged to stay at the Radisson Hotel so that meeting costs to the Western Section are minimized. The special lodging rate is $95 per room for single occupancy standard room, and $115 per room for double occupancy standard room. This rate expires after January 21, 2001. If you are an employee of the State of California, you can complete form STD 255C that allows you to exceed the standard lodging rate. Contact the Radisson Hotel at 800-333-3333 or 916-922-2020 to reserve your room. Tell them that you are with "The Wildlife Society" to qualify for the meeting room rate. The Radisson Hotel is located at 500 Leisure Lane, Sacramento, CA 95815. The hotel can be easily accessed off Highway 160 near Cal Expo and downtown Sacramento (see map). Ground transportation from Sacramento International Airport is available from Super Shuttle (800-BLUEVAN). Round trip transportation from the airport is $18; one-way is $10.
