    The Western Section of The Wildlife Society includes over 1000 members from California, Nevada, Hawaii, and the Pacific Islands, and consists of ten chapters. You may join or renew your Section and/or Chapter membership online or by mailing a check. TWS members can also join/renew through the TWS store.

    The Wildlife Society is an international nonprofit scientific and educational organization serving professionals in all areas of wildlife ecology, conservation, and management. Over 9,700 research scientists, resource managers, educators, communications specialists, conservation law enforcement officers, administrators, and students from nearly 70 countries belong to The Wildlife Society and benefit in many ways from its publications.

    Members of The Western Section communicate through a variety of media. We publish both a quarterly newsletter and Transactions of our Annual Conference. Besides print publications, the Western Section has a number of points of presence on the internet, including:
