TWS Western Section Membership
Why should I join the Western Section?
Most people who read this page belong to one or more professional or educational societies. But there are some things about the Western Section of the Wildlife Society that make it unique, filling a niche that no other society fills. Here is a partial list of the benefits of membership in the Western Section:

Membership in the national organization of The Wildlife Society, in The Western Section of The Wildlife Society, and in your local chapter are independent from each other. Each level of membership has its own dues. Dues for each level are for the calendar year.
Annual dues for the Western Section are $20 with a Student rate of $10. We also offer a Lifetime Member rate of $450, payable in 1, 2, or 3 payments.
You can also join one or more of the ten chapters at the following annual rates:
Central Coast: $4.00
Hawaii: $5.00
Humboldt State Student Chapter: $6/semester ($10/year)
North Coast: $5.00
Nevada: $10.00
Sac-Shasta: $7.00
S.F. Bay Area: $10.00
San Joaquin Valley: $5.00
So. California: $10.00
Davis Student Chapter: $5/quarter ($15/year)
If you belong to TWS, you can join the Section and any desired Chapters via the on-line store of the national organization. If you are only a Western Section or Chapter member, you can use our Western Section on-line form or you can complete the printer-friendly Western Section membership form and mail it with a check or credit card information.
Membership renewal: If you are a member of The Wildlife Society (TWS), you can renew for the Section and any Chapters on their renewal form. Renewal notices for members that do not belong to TWS, will generally be sent out in November and the by-laws state that memberships should be renewed by April 1.

Chapters
The Western Section of The Wildlife Society includes over 675 members from California, Nevada, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands, and consists of ten chapters:
* - Chapters wishing to host their web site on the Western Section's server should contact webmaster "at" tws-west.org. The section requests that chapters hosting their sites here help the section defray their web server costs by paying a $25 per year fee.
